Deep Well Polymer Anode
The deep well polymer impressed current anodes are designed for installation in deep wells. The ground beds are designed for work with transformer rectifiers under any soil and climatic conditions when the electrodes are located below the depth of soil freezing. The main purpose of the impressed current anodes is to provide sufficient resistivity in the soil so that the anode current does not spread beyond the design boundaries of cathodic protection and has an impact on the protected item.
Advantages
- The ground beds are not harmful to the environment and do not require disposal at the end of their service life
- Protection against oxidation and oxide film formation during use
- They serve 20-30% longer than high silicon cast iron anodes
- The design and accessories make installation quick and easy
Construction Features
It is made as a polymeric electrode with a cable outlet from one or two ends and connected to the main cable. It is supplied with a load strapping for ease of installation. Looped and non-looped versions are available.
At customer's option, the ground beds can be connected to the main cable at the factory.
They are installed in the well using GO-4 load strapping; it is possible to install up to 32 pieces in a well.
Prepackaged Deep Well Polymer Anode PSS-ICPA-PDW
It is designed as a metal casing, in which a polymer anode is placed, and the free space between the anode and the metal shell is filled with an anode space activator. The fasteners are provided for series type connection of several earthing devices.
There are two options for anodes installation into a well: using a main cable brought into a well, and a cable outlet to a well-head.
Installation in a well up to 16 pieces is possible.
