Oval Aluminum Anode (Bolt-On)
Oval aluminum bolt-on anodes with ballast resistance PSS-P-NOA are designed to protect the internal surfaces of tanks and tanks of ships from corrosion.
Protection of ports and quays with sacrificial anodes is a traditional solution. Purpose
Oval aluminum bolt-on anodes with ballast resistance PSS-P-NOA are designed to protect the internal surfaces of tanks and vessels from corrosion. The sacrificial anodes are efficient, maintenance-free and do not require power supply. Installation and renewal of sacrificial cathodic protection does not cause any difficulties in the construction of ships and during their repair. Basically, its service life can be set in any way, depending on a number of sacrificial anodes. By changing the material and size of the sacrificial anodes, protection can be provided for almost all sea areas. All manufactured types of protectors are made of zinc and aluminum alloys.
Operating Principle
The operating principle of sacrificial protection is to create a protective potential when current flows in a galvanic pair of a structure-sacrificial anode. In the structure-sacrificial anode chain, the sacrificial anode is the anode, and the structure is the cathode. The current flowing from the sacrificial anode enters the structure and suppresses or limits corrosive elements on its surface, and, consequently, prevents corrosive destruction of the structure.
