Corrosion indicator BPI-2 for determining the risk of corrosion distruction and the effectiveness of electrochemical protection against corrosion of underground steel without opening them from the induced alternating current. Does not affect the protective potential maintained by means of electrochemical protection on the protected structure
The Conductor Indicator Unit is designed to determine the risk of corrosion and the effectiveness of cathodic protection of steel underground facilities without opening them from the induced alternating current.
The BPI-2 is made as the Conductor Indicator Unit and consists of three conductors with a diameter of 0.5 mm; 1.0mm; and 2.0 mm, connected to a common plate with a thickness of 2.0 mm. A control wire is connected to each of the conductors.
The unit housing provides contact of the working surface of the conductors with the ground and protects the backside and lateral surfaces of the conductors from corrosion.
