Modified Low-Power Pulse Rectifier
Modified Low-Power Pulse Rectifier PSS-PRU-M, built on the basis of pulsed power supplies, is designed for cathodic protection of various underground metal structures: main pipelines (gas pipelines, oil pipelines, product pipelines and other pipelines for various purposes), utility facilities, storage tanks and other similar facilities, located in various soils, including soils with increased aggressiveness.
In cases of operation of the rectifier along railway tracks (tram tracks, metro) or in places where stray currents may appear, it is necessary to provide additional installation of drainage devices for trouble-free operation of the rectifier. The rectifiers are designed for outdoor installation.
PSS-PRU-M is characterized by small dimensions and light weight, can be used as a temporary station during the commissioning of the cathodic protection system. At the request of the customer, execution with a digital control unit is possible.
Functionality
- Ensuring the measurement of the polarization potential.
- Operation in the mode of automatic maintenance of the total or polarization potential at a given level.
- Operation in the mode of automatic stabilization of the protective current.
- Operation in the mode of automatic stabilization of the output voltage.
- Automatic transition to the output current stabilization mode at a given level when the reference electrode circuit is broken.
- Alarm about the occurrence of a break in the circuit of the reference electrode or potential sensor with automatic transition to the output current stabilization mode, at the level that was before the accident occurred.
- Calculation and indication of the time when the structure is under cathodic protection.
- Counting and indication of the time when the rectifiers are under the voltage of the supply network, in the switched-on state.
- Short circuit protection in the load circuit with automatic switching to operating mode after the short circuit is eliminated.
- Overload, overvoltage and overheating protection.
- Automatic activation in the set mode when the supply voltage disappears and reappears (in case of power outages).
- All information about the output data, operating mode and other parameters of the rectifier is displayed on the LED display.
Remote Monitoring Types
T1 – connection via the "current loop" communication channel with physical signals (analog (4-20 mA) and discrete);
T2 – connection to the rectifier via serial digital interface RS-485, Modbus RTU protocol;
T3 – connection via GSM communication channel version 1 (2 SIM cards, data transmission via SMS messages);
T4 – connection via GSM/GPRS communication channel version 2 (2SIM cards, data transmission via TCP protocol);
T5 – connection via GSM/GPRS communication channel version 3 (specify the necessary remote monitoring in the additional requirements).
Combinations of remote monitoring types can be implemented into rectifiers. In this case, the designation should be carried out as follows:
T13 – a combination of types T1 and T3
T25 – combination of T2 and T5 types
T124 is a combination of types T1, T2 and T4, etc.
