Underground Test Station
The underground test station (SKIP-G) is designed for cathodic protection and corrosion control for pipelines and other underground metal structures.
The products are manufactured for UKhL 1 (moderately cold climate) climatic conditions. They are designed for outdoor use.
The SKIP-G is installed in settlements and industrial areas at the level of road surfaces. They withstand the pressure of vehicle tires. They have a large number of versions with various combinations of the number of power and measuring terminals.
Structural Features
The PSS-SKIP-G is a rack made of pipe Ø 219 mm (wall thickness 4 mm) with a hinged metal cover 4 mm, inside which there is a terminal panel. The station can be supplied with a PM-0.4 magnesium sacrificial anode installed on a housing. The sacrificial anode protects the metal housing of the test station from corrosion and ensures a 20% increase in service life.
Number of power clamps is up to 16 pieces, the cross-section of conductors is up to 100 mm².
Number of measuring clamps up to 32 pieces, cross-section of conductors up to 10 mm².
At the customer's request, the SKIP-G can be equipped with an additional BDR (M) device in the event when it is required to use cathodic protection of unconnected underground metal structures and to eliminate the harmful effect of protective installations of separate protection on adjacent communications.
